We know it will bring some changes to your guest payments and transactions, so we want to make sure you’re set up for success.
Make sure you have:
A good understanding of all the steps and flows involved in your guests’ payments – even card details you capture directly from your guests at check-in or check-out can be at risk of not going through!
Checked with your OTAs to make sure they’ll be passing through compliant guest payment details
A PMS that has a compliant payment gateway
A booking engine that has got a compliant payment gateway
Bookings and payments via your online booking engine and Property Management System (PMS) are at particular risk of not being compliant.
This means your occupancy and revenue could be affected come 14th September.
